The splash screen that displays before the intro video doesn't show if the game is fullscreen and the game's resolution doesn't match the desktop screen resolution.
Actually I started the game in 1024 or whatever it starts in and my desktop is 1680 or whatever widescreen, so it's something else (Although could be those parameters and hardware).
EDIT - t obe clear, have never had splash screen not come up.
Well, if my second monitor is disabled it shows up fine even when the resolution is different.
So it looks like it's not getting displayed because the system is busy mucking about with two monitors.
