play the game more hours then you sleep.....

sing yo ho yo ho a pirate life for me everytime you here pirate raiders are on the lose.

talk to your self while you play the pretending to interactions with your fleets and captal ships

Ive left a game on running straight for over 30 hrs. Granted it was on very very slow but still.
