Receiving Experience and the benefits from Experience?
*Perhaps someone from Stardock can enlighten us on what will exist for experience on units and heroes?
This topic is for recommending that units and heroes receive experience and obtain benefits for the experience. My search on the topic didn't return any results. It's only logical a veteran fighter which has fought in many battles should have a significant advantage over a rookie fighter who's never swung a sword at anything beyond a stuffed dummy. Ideally lots of different levels of experience have been desired for other fantasy TBS.
Hopefully these suggestions will provide more options and ideas for experience.
Suggestions for units receiving Experience:
1) Training Academy inside towns (limited gains in experience)
2) Hidden Master or Magicial Blessing from a quest
3) Hidden Master or Magicial Blessing from a special event
4) Hidden Master or Magicial Blessing from a special map square
5) Obtaining experience for overall effectiveness during a battle {thus a killing blow does not grant all the EXP}
?) Others I may have missed
Suggestions for the benefits of having Experience:
1) Improved statistics (hitpoints, movement, attack value, damage value, resistances, intelligence, etc.)
2) Special skills (hunting, healing, % for stun, % for critical strike, regeneration, etc)
3) Earning a Title Name (examples= {name} the Great, {name} the Lucky, Tall {name}, etc)
